A. Installation recommendations:
1. Install through Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs. This ensures the registry entries are created correctly for all users.
2. Install the Progress/OpenEdge Products Locally on the Terminal Server because NetSetup is not supported.
B. Performance considerations:
1. DBA performance tuning
2. Progress and r-code local to the terminal server to remove further LAN traffic
3. DB local to terminal server for shared memory connections if the database is located on the terminal server
