Remove volume <number> from <tape-drive>. (3761)
Remove volume one from /dev/rmt0. (3761).
Attempting to restore a database from an online tape backup using the PROREST command.
A script was used to run the original PROBKUP session.
The script was written several years ago and was not recently verified for accuracy.
CAUSE:
The backup script used the -VS parameter with PROBKUP. The -VS parameter called an environment variable called $TAPESIZE. The $TAPESIZE environment variable was permanently set to 1951488 KB. However, the database's physical size had grown much larger than the specified -VS (volume size).
FIX:
Restore from another known good backup.
