Message (excp): Database /fathom/config/fathom.odb is not writable
Getting error about fathom.odb file when trying to start AdminServer
Not starting AdminServer under root account
AdminServer and Fathom do start fine when using root account
CAUSE:
The user starting adminserver does not have write permissions to $FATHOM/config directory in order to update Fathom resource (fathom.odb) database
FIX:
Grant write permissions to $FATHOM/config for the user starting AdminServer.
Ideally, if you are planning to use remote monitoring, which will engage SonicMQ broker, you should also grant write permissions to the user for the complete $FATHOM directory due to SonicMQ's need for creating lock files.
