GOAL:
Does Progress support AMD Opteron 64-bit CPU ?
FIX:
Progress does not have native build for AMD Opteron 64-bit CPU.
The CPU has backward compatibility with Intel 32-bit CPU, so the Progress 9.1D/OpenEdge 10.0A will run on the system using AMD Opteron 64-bit CPU(s).
However, the Progress Software has not certified this, so officialy this configuration is not supported.
