Quick Install vs. Custom Install components in NT DB 8.1A
When you install Progress NT DB 8.1A in "Custom Installation" Mode the
default files to be installed are different than the default files
installed if you select "Quick Install"
The Custom install by default installs the following components
ProControl
Release Notes
Setup
Config
4GL Batch Engine
Help
Server Shutdown
Server
Uninstall
When you install Progress and select Quick install the components
listed above along with the following are installed:
Application Compiler
Data Admin
Data Dictionary
ProBuild Utility
Open Interface Broker.
