SUMMARY:
The information in wtb.cnf concerning WebSpeed's ability to connect to
a Progress single user Database is incorrect. There is no license to connect to a single user Database.
EXPLANATION:
The wtb.cnf states:
# -db <path-to-database>
#
# This parameter specifies the full path to a local
# PROGRESS Version 8 database or the name of a remote
# database or DataServer if the -H and -S options are
# specified.
This is misleading. You can connect via the broker and it
will appear that it will work, however if you try to
connect to the Database via a browser you will get the error:
You cannot access local data in this version of PROGRESS. (3243)
