FIX:
Progress has an internal bi size limitation of 2GB.
In other words, even if you pre-allocated database extents beyond 2GB, it would still only ever use 2GB. If you reached 2GB of usage, the database would crash.
This internal 2GB limitation has been removed in version 9 onward.
In version 8.3x onward, Progress also implemented -bithold and -bistall parameters to help with managing bi growth.
