Error 6087 when starting Dynamics Session Type Control
Specified ActiveX control is not registered or the .ocx file was moved from where it was registered.
Error occurred in procedure: control_load adm2/dyntreeview.w (6087)
After new installation of Progress on a new installation of Windows, when trying to start Dynamics Session Type Control the error 6087 appears.
CAUSE:
The Treeview OCX that Dynamics uses is not supplied by Progress. The .OCX is MSCOMCTL.OCX and is supplied with Microsoft products such as Microsoft Office.
FIX:
Install Microsoft office and this will supply and register the required .OCX.
