GOAL:
If I can query the pub._sql_qplan VST, why doesn't it show up in the list of tables in Crystal Reports
GOAL:
If I can see VSTs in Crystal Reports, why can't I see the pub._sql_qplan
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1x
Crystal Reports 9
Crystal Enterprise 9
Crystal Reports 10
Crystal Enterprise 10
Windows
FIX:
The _sql_qplan table does not really exist as a table in the database. It is more like a temp table that is attached to a connection and identified as a VST.
As such the only query plan a user can access are the query plans for the last query the user executed. A user will not be able to access query plans for queries executed by someone else.
