7.3B DOS with Microsoft Network DOS Client 3.0 and nwlink
Microsoft's MS-DOS Network Client version 3.0, doesn't support the
NETBIOS Interface if running over Nwlink (Microsoft's IPX
implementation).
If you try to startup either PROGRESS version 6 or version 7 DOS with
this Microsoft client configured with Nwlink, any connection attempts
will fail, and with 7.3Bxx DOS, it will fail without showing any error
messages to the screen.

PROGRESS should work fine with Microsoft's client running over
NETBIOS/NETBEUI and NETBIOS over TCP/IP (NetBT).
