Seeing more records read than appropriate using primary unique index
CAUSE:
When Progress processes a query, schema is read to determine index information, fields for display, etc. Since the schema is stored as table and records we also list the schema records we traverse as part of the count in the promon or VST displays when a query is run.
FIX:
This is normal. The extra records are typically the schema records needed to process your query or display.
