Application no longer has access to the Procedure Editor

Question:

I developed an application in V6 using Fast Track. When I
press the Escape key it took me to the Procedure Editor
where I could type in my own queries (4GL or SQL). Now
that I have upgraded to V7, when I hit the Escape key I
am back on the command line. I don't have access to the
Procedure Editor. Why has this changed?

Answer:

In V6 the application was running on a Query/Report (aka
Query/Results) license. Now in V7 the application is
running on a Run-Time (aka Client Networking or Personal
Database) license. The Run-Time license does not allow the
user to have access to the Procedure Editor. In order to
regain that functionality, the license type must be
upgraded to Query/Results.
