SYMPTOM(s):
Launch the Progress client and gives error
The DLC environment variable must contain a valid directory/path (11002)
System environment variable has been set that correctly points to the PROMSGS file.
INI file has the PROMSGS path set correctly.
CAUSE:
The registry is missing information under the key HKLM\Software\PSC\Progress\version
FIX:
The installation was done as a user who does not have full permissions to write to the registry. Reinstall Progress, choosing complete install, as a Local Administrator.
