FACT(s) (Environment):
HP-UX 11i 64-bit
Progress 9.1D 64-bit
TERM = VT100 failed.
TERM = Wyse50 failed.
TERM = VT220 failed.
TERM = XTERM failed.
CAUSE:
Terminal type was not compatible with environment settings.
FIX:
Change terminal type to ANSI.
