SYMPTOM(s):
SDOs bad performance when OpenOnInit is set to false
API is only called on the client
Caching data fields on the client are extremely slow
OpenOnInit set to false is calling the server to get the definitions
CAUSE:
Enhancement request# 20040421-009
FIX:
This Enhancement has not been implemented in the product.
The SDO should use the Entity definition during Design time and the Static definition in the SDO include file during Runtime. Doing this will give a dramatic performance improvement on initialization of a client-side SDO
