Retrieval of a single object instance from a container is slow
The entire container object is be retrieved from the Repository and the queried for the relevant instance. This adds considerable overhead to the retrieval process.
CAUSE:
Enhancement request# 20040422-009
FIX:
Retrieval of a single object instance from a container instead of the entire container object. This functionality would be particularly useful when retrieving SDOs in the Dynamics Web implementation, but will also be used elsewhere.
This has a particular impact when using Dynamic frames.
