FACT(s) (Environment):
WebSpeed 3.x
SYMPTOM(s):
The WebSpeed application is pointing to the wrong database
One broker is connected to the production database and the other broker is connected to the test database
The agent's propath for the source code are different
The source code is identical in both environment
The production broker is set to run as a default broker
The test application is being run without the WService=<AppServiceNameList> parameter in the URL
CAUSE:
The parameter "WService=<AppServiceNameList>" is not being used in the URL when test application is run. Since the Production WebSpeed broker is run as a default service, it is running the production application which is similar application as the test application.
FIX:
Specify "WService=<AppServiceNameList>" parameter in the url to specify the correct broker.
