Installation of Progress fails with errors
Entered configuration information is incorrect. Re-enter the configuration data.
Error occurs after entering serial number and then control codes
The serial number and control codes are correct and under maintenance.
FACT(s) (Environment):

CAUSE:
The serial number of the product is being entered without the two leading zeros. Example: The serial number entered was: "1234567" when it should be "001234567". The Progress installation expects 9 digits. We do not validate the number of digits in the serial number until after the control codes are entered.
FIX:
Enter the full serial number including the two leading zeros.
