SYMPTOM(s):
no printer device context available from Win
running _osprint in an appserver
CAUSE:
Local service does not have permission to interact with the desktop
FIX:
Go to Administrative tools -> Services -> AdminService for Progress9.X
Go to Properties and select Log on folder/or look for Local System Account
There is a check box "Allow service to interact with desktop" Check the box to ON.
Appserver will find the printer device and all local drive units.
