SYMPTOM(s):
proadsv -query returns "is alive" message
proadsv -query also returns java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: gcNoCompact at sun.misc.GC$Daemon.run(GC.java:102)
GC.java:102 messages is usually an indication that the wrong version of Java is being used.
CAUSE:
Incorrect link to a directory that sets up the Environment variables which included the Java files.
FIX:
Set the Java environment variables to point to the correct version of Java required by Progress.
