GOAL:
How to improve performance of a programmatic data load across a network
FIX:
Some suggestions to improve performance of a programmatic load across a network.
1) Deactivate all but the primary index for the load. Index Build all indices after load to re-activate indices
2) Serve the database with the -i (no integrity) parameter if the database was backed up prior to the load or if there is nothing already in the database.
3) If possible make sure to use Raid 0 or Raid 1+0 to optimize write speed of database.
