SYMPTOM(s):
Error when trying to launch from icons on the client
Netsetup install
msgopen: unable to open promsgs file
Unable to open parameter file <name>, errno <number>. (1247)
Unable to open paramter file <path>/startup.pf, errno 2. (1247)
CHANGE:
Server where installation resided was removed from the network
CAUSE:
The server from where the netsetup was originally run was removed.
The registry entries on the client are pointing to a server that no longer exist on the network.
FIX:
Uninstall Progress from the clients and run Netsetup from the new server.
