SYMPTOM(s):
Exported Report Builder report containing control codes prints garbage when sent to printer.
CAUSE:
The report was exported to a file with control codes by the Report Builder Engine aderb\printrb prior to sending it to the printer.
The Report Builder Engine parameter, RB-PRINTER-NAME, was set to a different printer than the used to print the garbage report.
FIX:
When trying to Print an exported report file that contains control codes, you must use the same printer that the report was defined with. This is because the control codes created with the report are specific to that printers driver.
