Setting colors on PC terminals
DRAFT COPY - Currently under review and edit.
INTRODUCTION:
=============
This Product Service Technical Support Knowledgebase entry describes
where to go to set your terminal colors when running PROGRESS on a PC.
WHY YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS:
===========================
Unlike other operating systems which use the PROTERMCAP file to set
colors withing PROGRESS, the color settings on a PC are found in the
progress.ini file. This file is usually mapped to
DLC\bin\progress.ini.
PROCEDURAL APPROACH:
====================
IMPORTANT TO NOTE - make a backup copy of your progress.ini file
before making any changes to it. You can verify that your colors
are set to default by comparing them to the settings listed in
your documentation (Programming Handbook 21-3).
