Creation date mismatch. (9214)
proserve returns 9214 error
truncate bi returns 9214 error
prostrct unlock completes, but returns all extent sizes as 0.
Nonsense characters getting written to database logfile
CAUSE:
Schema and data corruption due to hardware failure (failing disk controller).
FIX:
Try the following steps in order -
1. Go to backup if possible.
2. If going to backup isn't possible, then it may be possible to connect to the database in -RO mode so that data can be dumped.
3. If none of these work, contact Progress TechSupport to see if there are further possibilities. However, it might be the case that there is nothing further that can be done.
