Load data is grayed out with 4GL Development license installed
Load data option is grayed out in both Admin menu and the Proto (Progress DB to MSS or ORACLE or ODBC) screen
The Progress workgroup database and the client networking licenses are also installed
The Database connection parameter includes -rx (Encrypted Compiler Mode).
CHANGE:
Recently installed 4GL Development license
CAUSE:
The -rx switch in the database connection parameter caused the load data menu to be grayed out. The -rx switch is used to run encrypted or compiled code mostly used in production mode.
FIX:
Connect to the database without -rx switch.
