GOAL:
Is Progress able to balance the load of data along multiple disks?
FIX:
By creating different extents on different disk doesn't mean that data will be stripped along multiple disk,Progress fill one extent and when that extent is full, then it starts to use the next one. It's not possible partitioning objects (by range for example) which allows balancing the load and improving the reading process.
Progress doesn't behave like this, however it's possible getting similar performing by installing a RAID 0 system,In this case, system will be working with a logical drive and the data will be stripped into different disks. There's no need to create different extents on different disks .The OS will be in charge of stripping the data.
