SYMPTOM(s):
Disk system went down while database is still running
Disk system is in the process of being brought back
Users can not log in to database
Users already in the database hang
Can not use promon
CAUSE:
Database on the disk and shared memory out of sync
FIX:
Clean up shared memory and restart database.
Two ways to do it
1. Use ipc remove to remove shared memory segments
kill all progress process
restart database server
2. Reboot the system completely.
