GOAL:

What are the changes in database security from Progress version 9.1C to version 9.1D?

FACT(s) (Environment):

Windows 32 Intel
Progress 9.1C
Progress 9.1D

FIX:

The only change is the following:

- AdminServer Security: In Progress Version 9.1D, the AdminServer has enhanced security that allows an administrator to optionally require authorization and authentication for the AdminServer with an optional logging capability. The AdminServer can now require group names that list authorized users, as well as user names and passwords that authenticate authorized users of the AdminServer.
