Error 10356 when attempting to Truncate BI of a Target Database in a Fathom Replication Environment
Access to database <db> not allowed. The database is enabled for site replication but either replication is not running, or this process is not authorized to open a replication enabled database. (10356)
Database is a replication enabled target database
Target Database is enabled for site replication
CAUSE:
Truncate BI is not allowed on a Target Database
FIX:
Truncate the before-image file on the Source Database. It will still not decrease the bi extent size on the target, but will reset the bi cluster chain to enable the existing clusters to all become available for reuse.
