GOAL:
Can we apply a patch for a Progress product on MS Windows to the same Progress Product (same version) on an other platform (UNIX)?
FIX:
No. This just does not make any sense, and it is very likely to fail.
Anyway, unlike with Service Packs (9.1D and later), patches were not provided at the same time for all platforms, so issues were not address with a same patch level across platforms.
