How to upgrade 32-bit Fathom installation to 64-bit without loosing resource settings ?
FACT(s) (Environment):
Fathom for Management 2.1A

FIX:
In order to install Fathom 64-bit and keep all trended and resource settings data please follow steps below:
01) stop the AdminServer
02) backup $FATHOM/config/fathom.odb .odf and .odt
03) backup $FATHOM/config/fathom.properties
04) backup $FATHOM/db/*.* directory (the database has to be shutdown)
05) backup $FATHOM/etc/fathomRealm.properties (Fathom users)
06) unglue your 32-bit Fathom installation via $FATHOM/bin/unglue
07) delete it, ie the 32-bit Fathom installation
08) install 64-bit Fathom version
09) start the AdminServer and access :9090/">http://<hostname>:9090 (and fill the configuration screens)
10) stop AdminServer
11) put back fathom.odb, .odf, .odt files from step 02)
12) put back fathom.properties file from 03) - if needed
13) put back fathom database ($FATHOM/db/*.*) from 04) - the new database, created by step 09) has to be stopped, before it gets deleted
14) put back fathomRealm.properties from 05) - if needed
15) start AdminServer again
Steps 02) - resources and 04) - Fathom trend database are mandatory in order to keep all vital information from old (32-bit) installation, the rest can be typed in again, during point 09)
Remark "if needed" from 12) means, if some changes are done to a configuration in 09) and the remark in 14) is about Fathom users previously defined.
