Progress 9.1C _msssrv GPF when trying to create schema holder using 9.1B client
The GPF occurs after the pre-selection criteria step is run.
Windows 2000 has the Progress 9.1C21 Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise DataServer installed
Linux has the Progress 9.1B client installed
Unified broker mssbroker1 is running on Windows 2000
After upgrading the Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise DataServer to 9.1D in Windows 2000 and the Progress client to 9.1D in Linux everything worked fine.
CAUSE:
The Progress client is not in the same label or higher in terms of the major version release as the DataServer license.
FIX:
Use the Progress client 9.1C or higher in the same major version release.
