AppServer log contains:
Connection failure for host <host_name> port <port> transport <transport_name>. (9407)
FACT(s) (Environment):
Client is running an application on the AppServer.
All Supported Operating Systems
Progress/OpenEdge Product Family
No other errors are being reported at this time.
After 2 hours the session is closed in the log file.
CAUSE:
Exact cause is unknown at time of writing, however, Network problems of some sort are causing client to drop their session.
FIX:
Investigate problems with the Network. This is not a Progress problem or issue.
