Dynamics 2.1a/2.1a01 is actually the more up to date product in terms of functionality however there are service packs planned:
OpenEdge Dynamics 10.0A01 in March, 2004
Dynamics 2.1A02 in April, 2004
which will result in the product being functionally equivalent.
