GOAL:
How to install additional Progress licenses to an existing install?
FIX:
Additional products can be added to an existing installation by using the install utility.
On Windows:
1. Execute the setup.exe installation program
2. When prompted to enter the Destination Directory enter the directory where the existing installation resides.
3. Change the Working Directory to the Working Directory selected during the original installation.
When the installation completes the Progress.cfg will be updated with the new packages added.
On UNIX:
1. Execute the proinst installation program
2. During the install Select the option:
Install the Progress products in the pre-existing destination path
3. Enter in the install directory and working directory of the existing installation.
When the installation completes the Progress.cfg will be updated with the new packages added.
