CAUSE:
Enhancement Request #20040220-001
CAUSE:
When Windows groups applications on the taskbar, it is based entirely on information gathered from the .EXE file. Windows will take the icon and Description that were packaged with the .EXE when it was generated and use these to create the group details. Icons for application instances contained in the group are retained however.
No icon or description was packaged with the PROWIN32.EXE when it was created, therefore only the default icon and "prowin32" caption are displayed when Progress applications are Grouped. The same behavior is seen with AppBuilder or Procedure Editor.
FIX:
This is the expected behavior determined by Microsoft Windows and there is no way to change the icon or Description of a .EXE file.
To workaround the problem perform one of the following:
1. Upgrade application to Progress 10.0B where icons are provided for the prowin32.exe and the prowc.exe.
2. Disable Taskbar Grouping
