ONLINE BACKUP HANGS

There is a known problem with the PROBKUP ONLINE utility hanging.
When this occurs, the user control display of PROMON will show
a client waiting for a block to be backed up. The backup utility
will also be waiting for a block to be backed up. Since the backup
utility is supposed to back up those blocks, the system will hang.
To resolve, all database processes must be killed from the operating
system.
This problem occurs on all platforms with Progress version 6.2.
Patches have been made on the following platforms:
Sun
SCO Unix
Unix 386/486 V.4
The problem has been fixed in 6.3C and 7.1A.
