Protermcap for Wyse 50 terminal causes tiny display
INTRODUCTION:
=============
This kbase is designed to address a problem in version 6 of Progress
when trying to run with Wyse 50 and Wyse 50 + terminals. The problem
is that the screen for display is very tiny when running Progress
Version 6.
WHY YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS:
===========================
If you want to have Progress display correctly when using Wyse 50 and
Wyse 50 + terminals in Version 6 of Progress, you will need to make
a minor modification to the Protermcap file.
PROCEDURAL APPROACH:
====================
1. Copy your existing protermcap file in $DLC to protermcap.orig
2. Edit your protermcap file and change the ti under the wyse 50
entry to resemble the following:
:ti=\E'\072\Ee\:
Once you have validated that Progress now displays correctly on your
terminal, you can delete the copy we made which was protermcap.orig.
