** Could not connect to server for database <DATABASE>, errno <ERRNO>. (1432)
** Could not connect to server for database <DATABASE>, errno 0. (1432)
Windows client receives error 1432 upon connecting to remote database running on UNIX
Problem happens only after installing 9.1D08
The same shortcut has been working up until 9.1D07
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows NT 32 Intel/Windows 2000
Progress 9.1D
CAUSE:
The -S paramter for service name is 9 characters long and has a number starting the name
FIX:
Shorten the service name
