ODBC driver not appearing in Data Sources list on XP
ProVision licence installed
Typical installation done.
CAUSE:
The ODBC driver is an optional component in the ProVision license and so if a Typical installation is done, it won't be installed. This is only done with a Complete or Custom installation.
FIX:
The component can be added using the the Add Components tab, which should be in the Progress program group.
The ODBC drivers should then appear under Start > Settings > Control Panel > Admin Tools > Data Sources (ODBC).
