Error 44 after applying Service Pack
** Database has the wrong version number. (db: <value>, pro: <value>). (44)
Error occurs when trying to start an appserver connected via Shared Memory
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1D
UNIX
CAUSE:
The SP installation does not verify that all Progress executable are not being used and thus
the _proapsv executable file may be in use and the SP installation will not replace the file
FIX:
Make sure all Progress process are closed and there are not running instances of any executable
before installing any Service Pack
