Get error 5890 trying to run a MS Word macro from Progress
The macro is stored in a user defined template (.dot).
Error occurred while accessing component property/method: <property or method name>.
<COM message>
Error code: <Program name> (5890)
Error occurred while accessing component property/method: RUN.
Unable to run the specified macro
Error code: 0x80020009 p:\boele\procs\runme3.p (5890)
The macros doesn't appears when opening the dot-file in VBA (Visual Basic for applications)
CAUSE:
The specified user defined template (.dot file) was corrupted and does not contains the called macros anymore.
FIX:
Replace the corrupted dot-file with a correct one
