Example of Using the XFTR Advanced Sort Options (8.1A)

INTRODUCTION
============
This knowledgebase entry discusses how to set up and use sort options
with the XFTR Advanced Query Options for a SmartBrowse and a
SmartQuery.

PROCEDURAL APPROACH
===================
1) Create a SmartQuery or SmartBrowse for customer table.

2) Go to the XFTR - Advanced Query Options (from List Sections) and
choose Insert Case.

3) A Query Builder appears which will allow you to choose fields from
the customer table. Choose field(s) that you like to sort by for that
case, by Customer.State by Customer.City.

4) Choose OK, you are now brought back to the Sort Options and you can
Insert Case to insert another sort case. Choose fields to sort by
for the second case, by Customer.Name.

5) Save the SmartQuery/SmartBrowser and place it into a SmartWindow.

6) Go to the SmartQuery/SmartBrowser's instance attributes and you
will be able to choose one of the sort cases that was set up for
this object to be used for sorting for this instance of the
object. For this example, you can choose to sort by state, city or
by name.
