GOAL:
Which circumstances can lead to error 860?
FIX:
This error means a difference between bi-file and master block and in most cases
a restore from backup is the best option. In the past, it has been observed that this error occured in the range of the following potential causes/symptoms that can be taken as check list:
- a rollforward of corrupt ai-file (not 100% confirmed yet)
-os copy backup strategy plus rollforward
-hardware corruption
-kill command that avoided the proper roll back of a transaction
-bad restore of db
