GOAL:
Which .jar file is needed for Web Services Toolkit (WSTK) functionality in Progress 9.1D07?
GOAL:
Steps required for users using the Progress Web Services Toolkit and the Progress 9.1D07 Service Pack
FIX:
The installation of the Progress 9.1D07 Service Pack introduces a change that is incompatible with the Web Services ToolKit. When the Web Services Toolkit is installed with the Service Pack the Progress AdminServer will not start.
A reinstallation of the Web Services Toolkit will NOT solve this problem.
To fix this problem a new version of "wstk.jar" must be obtained and installed in place of the version supplied with the Web Services Toolkit.
To obtain this file please contact Progress Technical Support.
The new "wstk.jar" file which you will receive from Technical Support will be used to replace the version that comes with the Web Services Toolkit:
1) Install Progress 9.1D07 Service Pack.
2) Install Web Services Toolkit.
3) Replace the wstk.jar in $DLC/java with the downloaded version:
UNIX systems: cp wstk.jar $DLC/java
Windows systems: copy wstk.jar %DLC%\java
Keep this file in a known location. Each time the Web Services Toolkit is installed with Progress 9.1D07 this file must be used to replace the one installed by the Web Services Toolkit installation.
