SYMPTOM(s):
ProService/ProControl generates zero bytes sized protrace files
Starting batch client using "Other Tasks"
Zero bytes protrace file created when batch client starts
Zero bytes protrace file created when batch client stops
CAUSE:
This is known to occur when the batch job is configured to auto-start. The Protrace is generated while the ProService is starting.
The exact cause of this is unknown.
FIX:
Set the batch job not to auto-start.
Then start the batch job manually either via ProControl or via the command line using "pccmd othertasks start <task name>".
