Database and Ubroker information returns once server instance is re-added.
Existing MMC version prior to install of 9.1D is 1.2
PROEXP.MSC and PROEXP11.MSC in the DLC directory are the same date and byte size.
Progress Explorer title bar reads PROEXP11.
Help and About MMC shows MMC 1.2.
Problem does not occur with 9.1D on Windows 2000.
CAUSE:
Progress 9.1D is not properly detecting 1.2 as the existing version of MMC.
FIX:
To resolve the problem, you will need to unregister and reregister the following dll.
Steps to correct the problem:
1) cd %DLC%/bin
2) regsvr32 proexptlr.dll /u
3) regsvr32 proexptlr.dll
Progress Explorer now starts and server instances will be retained.
