GOAL:
Does Progress ODBC or Microsoft SQL Server DataServer support connection through OLE DB connection?
FIX:
No; the DataServer for Open Database Connectivity(ODBC) data source and/or Microsoft SQL Server Database do not support OLE DB Connection to the OLE DB provider databases. Both progress DataServer products were developed based on the ODBC C-Level Application Program Interface(API) and other features of ODBC but not using Component Object Model(COM) API or COM based service structure which is the main method used OLE DB Connection.
