SYMPTOM(s):
Receiving XML messages on a queue with a SSL connection results in a dropped connection.
javax.jms.JMSException: Connection dropped.
javax.jms.JMSException: An open connection has not been established.
The 3.5 jar files being used are build 157.
SonicMQ Adapter and AdminServer are installed on Solaris and windows.
Receiving program running on Windows 2000.
CAUSE:
Bug# 20030801-001
CAUSE:
When the SonicMQ broker goes down, the adapter tries to acknowledge the previous message, in doing so it makes an attempt to contact the broker which doesn't exist resulting in "Open connection has not been established"
FIX:
Upgrade to Progress 9.1D08 (if you are using Progress 9.1x) or OpenEdge 10.0A
